But since there are a number of options available for light brackets, you may be wondering which accessory is right for your vehicle.

In this article, we will discuss how to choose the bracket that is right for you. Choosing the right BACKRACK™ light bracket is as easy as 1-2-3 and below you will find the three steps in finding your ideal accessory.

Step One – Determine Where you Want your Light(s) to Be

Before you begin scrolling through the BACKRACK™ product catalog, figure out where on your vehicle you would like your lights to be located. Ask yourself whether it makes more sense for them to be located on the driver’s side, passenger’s side, or in the centre.

While this decision could be a matter of personal preference, it is one that you might also make based on the type of cargo that you regularly transport. For example, if you carry taller items in the middle of your truck bed, then a centre light may not be visible to other drivers when you're transporting those loads.

Determine what light placement option will give you the most benefit and choose that.

Step Two – Determine What Size you Require

Lights come in a variety of size and shape options, and if you have already purchased your lights, it is important to choose a BACKRACK™ light bracket that is going to fit. If you do not yet have your lights, then you have the luxury of determining what size you need to get the ideal safety benefits – not to mention what you think will look best on your truck.

To determine the correct size, you may either do so by diameter or by length and width.

Step Three – Select your BACKRACK™ Light Bracket

Simply by determining the placement of your lights and knowing the size that you required, you have already narrowed down your choices quite a bit. The final step is to choose a bracket that you like from the remaining options.

To do this simply click on the “Accessories” tab and scroll through the options that are best suited for you and your vehicle.
