Sure, your truck bed is normally covered with tools, equipment and/or materials. But when it’s not, you want it to look great and remain in quality condition. A truck bed liner can help make that happen! Here are three reasons why you should invest in a bed liner for your truck today.
#1) Bed Liners Help Keep Your Truck in Like-New Condition
You chose your truck for not only its practicality but also its looks. A bed liner helps protect your vehicle’s bed and siding from unwanted damage caused by heavy, abrasive loads.
Keeping your truck bed in the best condition possible goes even further than aesthetic appeal: it will help your resale value, too.
Choose a bed liner that is UV resistant and easily cleanable so that your bed liner stays in good condition.
#2) Bed Liners Provide Improved Safety
Whenever you put a load in your truck bed, you need to ensure it’s safely secured. Otherwise, you’re potentially putting yourself, your passengers and others around you in danger.
A truck bed liner’s skid-resistant lining acts as an effective solution to prevent cargo from sliding about. Rest assured knowing that your truck bed’s cargo stays where it’s meant to be!
#3) Bed Liners Make Loading/Unloading Easy
The rugged construction of this easy-to-install accessory protects not only your truck but also any cargo you carry in your bed. Unloading and loading your truck bed becomes effortless with the addition of an effective bed liner. No longer do you need to worry about cargo loads bashing, sliding, digging or grating in your truck bed.
Installing a BACKRACK™ with a Bed Liner
Trucks are built to work hard. Even so, it’s important to do as much as you can to keep your truck protected and in great condition. Otherwise, it will only be a matter of time before you have to replace your vehicle with a newer model.
Like a bed liner, a BACKRACK™ helps keeps cargo securely fastened while providing protection for your truck and passengers. But don’t worry, you won’t have to make the choice between having a BACKRACK™ or having a bed liner – the best solution is to have both!
If you’ve purchased an under the rail liner, the install is easily accomplished by removing the liner, installing the stake pocket bolts, reinstalling the liner and then attaching your BACKRACK™.
If you have an over the rail liner, holes may need to be drilled through the top rail of the liner for the stake pocket bolts to protrude through. Rail plates should be installed under the liner for extra protection when an over the rail liner is used.
